Special Issue of FYMBYM

If you have not yet signed up to receive “For Youth Ministers, By Youth Ministers,” you have missed out. In 2007 we have started sending out the free e-newsletter every other month, and this change has been well received.

Also, we have a new look for the newsletter. Joey Sparks serves as one of the editors and he has done a great job designing the newsletter for us. (A screenshot of the March-April issue is pictured.)

The May-June issue will be sent out no later than next Monday, and will contain articles dealing with special Summer events. It was my privilege to write an article about Vacation Bible School.

Remember, you don’t have to be a youth minister to receive this newsletter. While its focus is on youth ministers, the articles are helpful to anyone who works with young people in the church (elders, Bible class teachers, etc.).

A New Look for FYMBYM

It’s been awhile since we had a post about For Youth Ministers, By Youth Ministers. The main reason is that we have not published the newsletter since October. Since that time, we have been working behind the scenes, getting a new format and look together for the free e-newsletter.

We think you will like what you see. If you are not familiar with FYMBYM, you may visit http://www.winfieldcofc.org/ymnewsletter.html. The Winfield church of Christ archives all back issues on this page so you can read them or print them out. We appreciate them for doing this.

If you would like to recieve the newsletter bi-monthly, email Kurt Hankins at kurt@vernon-churchofchrist.org. Our circulation now easily exceeds 200, but there is always room for more.

Also, if you would like to submit an article for the newsletter, feel free to do so. One of our changes is to make the newsletter longer, so we are going to need some help with articles. Feel free to email the articles to me at adfaughn@centurytel.net.
